bonito, adjective
pretty; nice

Bonito is a word you will probably come across quite often. It refers first to physical appearance:

un vestido muy bonito
a very pretty dress
Carmen tiene una cara muy bonita.
Carmen has a very pretty face.
Es un pueblo bonito.
It’s a pretty village.

It also means nice or good, in the general sense of ‘pleasing’.

Qué bonito es ver a una mujer enamorada llorar de emoción.
How good it is to see a woman in love crying with emotion.

In that meaning it can be used ironically, just like nice.

¡Qué bonito! ¡Contestarle a tu padre así!
That’s nice! Answering your father back like that!
