Fact of the Day: Jack Russell terriers

The Jack Russell terrier is a type of dog that was bred for hunting. The breed is named after the Reverend John (Parson Jack) Russell (1795-1883) who first bred such a dog in the mid-1800s. Rev. Russell was an avid fox hunter and breeder of fox-hunting dogs. The first Jack Russell terrier went by the name "Trump."
