Yesterday's Word - Previous Words - Help

volver, verb
to come back; to go back

Whether you translate volver as to come back or to go back will depend on the context.

Me dijo que no volviera nunca ahí.
He told me never to go back there.
Volvió a casa anoche, muy cansado.
He came back home last night, very tired.

In the next example notice the very irregular past participle vuelto.
