No tengo noticias de Juan. I haven’t heard from Juan. No volvió a verla ni a tener noticias de ella. He never saw or heard from her again. In the singular, and still with the verb tener, you use noticia to talk about not having heard of something: ¿Alguien tiene noticia de alguna guerra limpia? Has anybody heard of a clean war?
