dispuesto, adjective
ready; prepared, willing

One basic meaning of dispuesto is that something is ready. Notice how you use it with estar.

Todo está dispuesto para la fiesta.
Everything is ready for the party.
¿Están dispuestos para salir?
Are you ready to leave?

When you use dispuesto with a and a following infinitive, you convey the idea of being prepared or willing to do something.

No estaba dispuesto a implicarme.
I wasn’t willing to get involved.
