aburrido, adjective
bored; boring

The meaning of aburrido changes completely according to whether you use it with ser or estar. When you want to talk about you or somebody else being bored, you use aburrido with estar:

Estaba aburrida y me marché.
I was bored so I left.

If something is boring, you describe it using aburrido and ser:

Esta película es aburridísima.
This film is very, very boring.
