Molestar has different but related meanings to ‘molest’ in English. First, it means to bother:

No me molesta en absoluto el ruido, no se preocupe*.
The noise isn’t bothering me at all, don’t worry.
Siento mucho molestarle.
I’m sorry to bother you.

Molestar can also have the meaning of to disturb.

Nunca han molestado a los vecinos.
They’ve never disturbed the neighbours.
Que no me moleste* nadie.
I don’t want to be disturbed.
