Yesterday's Word - Previous Words - Help

sacar, verb
to take out

Sacar is another very common verb, which translates to take out in lots of different contexts:

Voy a sacar dinero del cajero automático
I'm going to take some money out of the ATM
sacar la basura
to take the garbage out
Se sacó las llaves del bolsillo
He took the keys out of his pocket

Notice the use of se in the previous example, to show that it's his own pocket
It's even a word you use when you go to the dentist - ouch!

Me sacaron una muela
I had a tooth taken out
