Fact of the Day: worms

Worms are animals with elongated tubelike bodies and no legs. The body can be cylindrical, flattened, or leaflike in shape and can be very tiny or grow up to 100 feet long! The worm family includes flatworms, ribbon worms, roundworms, and segmented worms. They are found mainly on land but also live in the sea, in fresh water, and as parasites of plants and animals.
