LearnEnglish Kids Newsletter
December 2013

Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter.

Santa
Children can have fun and practise their English with our Christmas activities on LearnEnglish Kids. Why not try one of
our Christmas songs, stories, crafts, or games? Children can also write to the site and tell us all about what they like (and don't like!) to eat at Christmas.

There will also soon be Christmas lesson plans for teachers to use with kids in class on our sister website, TeachingEnglish.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy New Year
What do children around the world do on December 31st? Find out in our New Year's Eve Your turn. We'd love to read what your kids do too. Ask them to post their comments and practise their English.

It's time for another year is a great song to celebrate the new year. You can sing along with your children and practise the months in English.

Happy new year to all our users!

Are you interested in finding out more about teaching children with special educational needs?

You can find a series of webinars that focus on different areas of special educational needs on our TeachingEnglish website. The five webinars aim to give teachers an understanding of special educational needs, as well as providing practical classroom strategies.

There is also an online training course for teachers who are working with children with special educational needs.

The whole family can practise English with our free websites for different ages!

LearnEnglish Kids is for children. Don't forget our page for parents too! Teenagers can find help with their exams and have fun with English on LearnEnglish Teens. Adults
who are learning English will find lots of helpful resourses on LearnEnglish.

Why don't you write to our parents' forum and share your ideas on how families can practise English together.
