blanco, noun
white

You'll probably already know blanco in the meaning of white, when referring to the color. By the way, whereas English speakers would say black and white, in Spanish white comes first - blanco y negro. In the same way, you use the Spanish expression no distinguir lo blanco de lo negro to say that somebody is unable to tell right from wrong (word for word, not to be able to tell what's white from what's black.)
As you'll see above, blanco can also be translated as target and en blanco can be translated as blank.

dar en el blanco
to hit the target
dejar algo en blanco
to leave something blank
Cuando iba a responder me quedé en blanco.
Just as I was about to reply my mind went blank.
