Yesterday's Word - Previous Words - Help

revelar, verb
to reveal; to develop

The word revelar has two main meanings. First, to reveal something.

No quería revelar su identidad.
He didn’t want to reveal his identity.
Reveló los nombres de sus cómplices.
She revealed the names of her accomplices.

Perhaps less relevant nowadays, when there are digital cameras, is the other meaning of revelar, developing film from cameras:

Todavía no hemos revelado las fotos.
We haven’t had the photos developed yet.
