Verbs and Gerund

Mr. Brown commutes from Philadelphia to New York City five days a week. He doesn't appreciate hearing the alarm clock go off every morning, and he puts off getting up as long as possible. He often narrowly escapes having and accident on the way to the train station because he usually drives much too fast. He avoids sitting in the smoking car because he doesn't enjoy breathing cigar and cigarette smoke. As soon as he finishes reading the newspaper, he starts working on the crossword puzzle. He doesn't stop working on it until the train reaches Penn Central Station in N.Y.C. Mr. Brown is considering looking for a full time job in Philadelphia because he hates to commute.
