Rechazar to reject is the opposite of aceptar in some uses.

El director rechazó mi propuesta.
The manager rejected my proposal.
Muchos inmigrantes se sienten rechazados por la sociedad.
Many immigrants feel rejected by society.

Sometimes someone offers you something which you turn down.

Al final rechacé la oferta.
In the end I turned down the offer.
He rechazado muchos trabajos por el sueldo.
I’ve turned down lots of jobs because of the salary.
