Yesterday's Word - Previous Words - Help

mostrar, verb
to show

Mostrar is a basic verb for to show. You often use it in the structure mostrar algo a alguien, to show somebody something.

Nos mostró el camino.
He showed us the way.
Se quitó el chaleco y le mostró la marca en el brazo.
He took off his vest and showed him the mark on his arm.

Remember that the -o of mostrar changes to -ue in the present:

Se lo muestro en seguida.
I’ll show it to you right away.
